2Big Idea⌄
With children seated, use a simple dialog with the Lenny Lion craft puppet to introduce the Big Idea.
Teacher: “Our Bible verse today is ‘God sees our heart.’ Do you know where your heart is?”
Ask the puppet, then the children. Motion to chest.
Teacher: “Put your hand on your chest and feel your heart beating. God made us and He made our hearts,” point to chest, “and our minds,” point to head.
Teacher: “God sees us and He has a wonderful plan for us. Let’s watch how a boy named David loved God and trusted Him even though he was little.”
