2Big Idea⌄
With children seated, introduce the Big Idea:
Teacher: “Thank you for obeying and sitting in your chairs. When we obey others, we show RESPECT. Do you know what 'Respect' means? We show respect when we are kind to others. And, we show respect when we listen with our ears to others. We obey when we are asked; and we help others and share our toys with others. Today, we will learn how Ruth respected Naomi. Ruth showed respect by being kind and helping Naomi. Let’s watch how Ruth showed respect."
