For example, “Hey, Lenny, do you know how much God love us?" Lenny: “I sure do. God love us thi-i-s much!” (Stretches his “arms” wide.) Teacher: “Oh, I like that. God loves us and He want us to love and obey Him. Children, do you love God? Let’s do like Lenny did to show how much we love God.” Teacher and Lenny stretch arms wide. Teacher: "Noah and his family loved God. Let’s watch a video."
3Video⌄
Show the "Little Noah : Noah Loved God" video on your available TV or device.
4Video Review / Discussion / Takeaway⌄
With children seated, hold up the coloring page: “Noah and his family loved God. Can you see how Noah built an altar to worship God? Noah and his family prayed and thanked God for each other and for their food. They loved God. Let’s do our memory verse: “Love (warm smile, hands spread on chest) God (looking, pointing upward) with all (arms stretched wide) your heart (both hands point to heart).”" Repeat. Teacher: “Now let’s color.”
5Activity⌄
Distribute the coloring pages and allow the children to color the front side of the page while pointing out key aspects that relate to the story/video.
6Snack / Play Time⌄
Serve snack, if applicable, then lead in a prayer of thanks: “Thank you for coloring Noah and his family. Before our snack, let’s all pray around our table.” Allow play time as needed.
7Song⌄
Teacher: “Are we thankful for our snack? Let’s listen to a song from Lenny Lion.” Play “Thank You God: Thankfulness Lesson” Then play “Thank You, God!” video/song on your TV or applicable audio device.
8Song Takeaway / Discussion⌄
Teacher, with Lenny Lion puppet: “Thanks, Lenny, that was a good song. You reminded us to love God and be thankful.” Lenny: “Yes, and kids, God loves us and gives us many things to be thankful for-- things like mommies and daddies, our food, and the world around us. Remember Noah, how he and his family loved God and thanked Him? We should love God with all our hearts. Let’s practice our memory verse.” Practice memory verse with signing.
9Activity⌄
